Bursting Discs

Managing risks arising from internal pressure increase in risky equipment in industrial facilities is a basic safety element for facility owners. Rupture discs are excellent tools to provide complete safety in the event of this type of internal pressure increase.

Bursting discs are protective equipment that are frequently used to prevent sudden changes in pressure from damaging the equipment and facility. The discs consist of a thin metal membrane that can be produced from different materials according to the operating conditions. If the pressure increase in the equipment exceeds the equipment endurance limits, the internal pressure relief is provided by deforming the metal membrane.
